About · subject study

Curiosity, with a soft spot for systems.

A
B · subject N°02

Front-end engineer and full-stack designer. I came up tinkering — pulling things apart long before it was a job, and that instinct is still the engine. I work on builds where design quality and implementation quality are treated as the same problem.

Born in Caracas, raised between continents, currently based in Colorado Springs. I speak English and Spanish. I read a lot of Sanderson. I cook things from a dozen places.

FIG. 02 · LIFE ORRERY

A spiral chart of things that happened.

Years spiral outward from the center. Months wrap around. Each dot is an event from outside the work-shaped part of my life — moves, hobbies picked up, kitchens conquered, books that changed something. Hover any dot for the note.

Materials · MAKE LIST

Things I make, and what I make them with.

Categorized as drafting materials. Not exhaustive — what I reach for first, by hand, without thinking about it.

Last revised — 2026.04

§A · INTERFACES

N°01

Designing & building UI

  • · Vue / Nuxt
  • · TypeScript
  • · React when asked
  • · Tailwind, vanilla CSS, design tokens
  • · Figma, mostly as a writing tool

§B · SYSTEMS

N°02

Holding things together

  • · Design systems & component libraries
  • · Content modeling (Sanity, headless CMS)
  • · Editorial workflows
  • · Documentation that survives the team
  • · Migrations without losing history

§C · STORIES

N°03

Writing & storytelling

  • · Copy that doesn't apologize for itself
  • · Long-form essays & build logs
  • · Game-mastering (TTRPGs, narrative design)
  • · Talking through decisions in plain English

§D · OFF-SCREEN

N°04

Things that aren't the job

  • · Painting & drawing
  • · Cooking from a dozen places
  • · Reading more fantasy than I admit
  • · Running a Saturday tabletop campaign
  • · Long walks where the snow is

Margin notes · ANNOTATIONS

Small things, in no particular order.

N=09 · drafted personally

§01 · LANGUAGE

Bilingual, English and Spanish. I think in both, which sometimes makes naming variables a small bilingual joke.

§02 · BOOKS

Brandon Sanderson is the answer to "what are you reading?" more often than I'd like to admit.

§03 · TABLETOP

Every Saturday is game night. The campaign has been running long enough to have its own lore bible.

§04 · KITCHEN

I cook food from a lot of places. Lately a lot of Korean. Always too much for the freezer.

§05 · CLIMATE

Strong opinion: winter > summer. I will defend cold mornings against anyone.

§06 · DRAWING

Painting and drawing are why I notice everything else. The eye gets trained somewhere.

§07 · ORIGIN

Caracas → US → Colorado. Each move taught me something about systems, even when I wasn't paying attention.

§08 · TINKERING

First broke a computer when I was 10. Have been fixing them ever since. The instinct is still the same.

§09 · WORK

I like work that's well made underneath as well as on top. The two aren't separable for me.

Next sheet · CONTACT

Want to build something well-made together?

Currently open to selected projects starting June. Founder-led teams, design-system work, and editorial builds especially welcome.
