Data Deletion Request

This site does not have user accounts. If you sent the contact form, or if Instagram sent a deletion callback, this page is how you check that request.

What I actually store

  • No accounts, and no Instagram or Facebook profile.
  • A contact-form message, if you sent one, lives in my email inbox (nicolascribbles@gmail.com) until I delete it.
  • The theme cookie nicolacodes-color-mode stays in your browser and is sent with page requests so the same theme can render. It is not stored as a profile. Clearing cookies removes it.

Ask me to delete a message

  1. Email nicola@rikerweb.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request. nicolascribbles@gmail.com works too.
  2. Include the email address you used on the form so I can find the message.
  3. I will delete what I hold and confirm that within 30 days.

Removing an app from Instagram or Facebook

If you ever authorized an app under this site, you can revoke it yourself:

  • Instagram: Settings, then Apps and websites, then Remove.
  • Facebook: Settings, then Apps and websites, then Remove.

Instagram can also call this site's deletion endpoint. That call returns a confirmation code and a link back to this page. It does not create a stored profile.
